Ingredients
- 6 pounds, fully cooked bone in ham
- 1 cup, packed brown sugar
- 8 ounces, slices pineapple
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons, optional lemon juice

Preheat oven to 325
Step 2
Place ham into roasting pan, insert meat thermometer into thickest part of ham.
Step 3
Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until ham reaches 135F of 140F.
Step 4
Make glaze. Mix brown sugar,cornstarch, and salt into medium sauce pan. Stir in pineapple juice, mustard and lemon juice(optional).
Step 5
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Step 6
Cover ham with pineapple slices, using toothpicks to secure into place.
Step 7
Pour glaze over ham and pineapples. This should be done 45 minutes before ham is finished. Bake until ham is correct temperature.
Step 8
Remove ham from oven, and allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes before carving
Chef's Notes
This recipe is so easy to do. You can cook it as directed in the oven, or even give it a try in the crock pot. Place a bit of oil in the bottom, and sprinkle a bit of brown sugar for the first part of cooking. Cook on medium heat, for at least 2 hours or more, until the ham has reached the proper temperature. Don\\\'t forget to add the glaze and pineapple to the last 40 minutes of cooking.
Can even add cherries.
