3 pounds roasting beef
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
2 bay leaves
Preheat oven to 350°F. Apply oil to the roasting pan and coat the beef. Season with herbs and spices. Bake uncovered approximately 90 minutes for medium doneness. Verify internal temperature with a meat thermometer. Rest the roast 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
