A seasoned brine solution using white wine to enhance pork's tenderness and juiciness.

2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup white wine
2 cups water
Boil one cup of water and dissolve salt, brown sugar, bay leaf, garlic powder, and pepper.
Add white wine and remaining water; cool mixture before adding pork.
Submerge pork completely in cooled brine, cover, and refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours.
Rinse pork under cool water, pat dry, and cook using preferred method.
