Cool down on those hot summer days with this cold refreshing sorbet.

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
20 ounces crushed pineapple in juice
2 teaspoons orange zest
Grate oranges to obtain 2 teaspoons orange zest. Blend with sugar.
Combine zesty sugar and water in saucepan; bring to boil and simmer until sugar dissolves.
Blend pineapple with juice in food processor.
Combine orange juice, lemon juice, pineapple, and sugar syrup.
Pour into freezer-safe container and freeze until firm.
Process in food processor until smooth and creamy. Serve.
