A classic, flaky homemade pie crust perfect for sweet or savory pies.

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

3-4 tablespoons ice water

Instructions

Combine flour and salt in a large bowl.

Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add ice water one tablespoon at a time until dough just comes together.

Form into a disc, wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Roll out on floured surface to fit your pie pan.

For pre-baked crust, poke holes in bottom and bake at 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
