Meatloaf just like mom use to make, with a yummy tomato topping. This recipe is so easy to make, and tastes great. Even the kids will love it.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1 egg

1/4 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced green pepper

1 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (sauce)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (sauce)

1/4 teaspoon salt (sauce)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper (sauce)

1/2 teaspoon sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.

Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.

Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, a tablespoon of sauce, remaining seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, onion, and pepper in large bowl; add flour gradually if needed until mixture holds together.

Place meatloaf in baking dish and bake for 40 minutes.

During final 15 minutes, spoon and spread sauce over loaf; finish baking until done; rest 5 minutes before serving.
