A comforting homemade soup perfect for fall and winter seasons.

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
6 chicken stock cubes
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground sage
1/2 cup diced onion
6 tablespoons cornstarch
6 cups water
2 cups uncooked noodles
Place chicken in crock pot with herbs, spices, stock cubes, and water. Cook on high until falling apart.
Sauté onions with butter and seasonings. Add to crock pot.
Remove chicken, shred, and return to crock pot.
Mix cornstarch with cold water, stir into pot until thickened.
Cook noodles separately, add to pot, and serve hot.
