Top your burgers or hot dogs with these yummy Caramelized Onions.

3 large onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and sprinkle with salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 25-30 minutes until deep golden brown.
Add brown sugar in the last few minutes to deepen the caramelization.
