A smoky, sweet barbecue sauce spiked with Captain Morgan spiced rum.

1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Captain Morgan spiced rum
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently, and cook for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
Remove from heat and cool. Store in airtight container.
