Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 cup peas
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Step 1
Melt butter in medium sauce pan. Add rice and cook for a few minutes to \'brown\'. Add chicken stock cube, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and water. Mix well. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer until rice if tender and water is gone. Allow rice to cool.
Step 2
In a wok, or skillet, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Slightly beat egg. Scramble egg. Add peas, rice and soy sauce. Heat thoroughly. Serve hot.
