Nothing says fall and winter like a big bowl of homemade Chicken Noodle Soup.

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 chicken stock cube
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/2 cup, diced onion
  • 6 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups, uncooked noodles

How To5 Steps

Step 1

Place chicken breasts into crock pot. Add herbs and spices, chicken stock cubes, and water. Cook on high until chicken is done and falling apart.

Step 2

Meanwhile, saute onions in a skillet, with butter, and seasonings to taste, until onion is translucent. Add to the crock pot.

Step 3

When chicken is cooked thoroughly, take out of crock pot, using two forks, shred chicken into bite size pieces. Add back to crock pot.

Step 4

In a small cup, using 4 to 6 tablespoons of cornstarch, add a small amount of cold water, mix well. Slowly add to crock pot stirring well, until you get your desired thickness.

Step 5

Cook noodles in a large saucepan until al dente. Add to crock pot. Enjoy soup hot.
