Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 cups water

How To4 Steps

Step 1

Boil one cup of water, add salt, brown sugar, bay leaf, garlic powder, and pepper. Mix well until salt is dissolved. Remove from heat.

Step 2

Add white wine, and remaining water. Mixture needs to be cool before adding pork. You can either put in the fridge, or add ice cubes to bring the temperature down.

Step 3

Once mixture is cool, add your pork, making sure it is completely covered. Cover with film wrap and set in fridge for 4 to 24 hours.

Step 4

Rinse pork gently under cool water. Pat dry and prepare for cooking using your favorite recipe.
